Students were able to go behind the scenes of the Alder Planetarium and work with astrophysics. They were given a challenge on how to design and create a connection piece to hold a Go Proto a satellite, which they will float up into the stratosphere for testing. The students worked with various materials and even a 3D printer to help them design successful models!

Edison Talks

OneGoalers posing outside the Cadillac Palace theatre. The students were able to hear talks and speeches by amazing and inspiring people. Some of these speakers were Sal Khan (Creator of Khan Academy), David Gregory (former host of Meet the Press), and Jennifer Eigenbrode (Research scientist working on mars exploration) and John K. Coyle (Olympian).
